  NOC Code for Student Union President

  Hello Everyone!
  Sorry to have missed all the fun and your smiling faces in Whistler.

  I was wondering if anyone knows the proper National Occupational Classification (NOC – Canada’s national system for describing occupations) for a Student Union President.

  We are being advised :

  This position can be categorized as a Senior Manager decision making role National
  Occupation Classifications using NOC 10019 Other Administrative Services Managers under Teer 0.
  

  
  

  However, given that the position is elected, and with the MSA, the President does not directly supervise staff, or direct operations in their role as president (the entire board directs the operations) we feel this is a bit of a stretch.

  I would love to chat with anyone with any insight to this.
